Australian retail giant Woolworths is selling a laundry basket quilt in the same colours as the clothing it sells.
The quilt is a limited edition of 20, and comes with a pair of wash cloths and a cotton washcloth quilt.
“We have a number of colours that have been discontinued,” Woolworth said in a statement.
“The wash cloth is the same colour as the fabric in which it is being made.”
It’s the latest in a long line of Woolworth products to have been designed with a washing cloth in mind.
The company started making its quilts with fabric scraps in mind back in 2000.
The Woolworth washing cloth is made from a natural fibres called alpaca and is also used to make clothing.
“This is not the first time we’ve introduced a washcloth into a product, we’ve been doing that for years,” Woolrich said.
The first Woolworth wash cloth to be made with a fabric was in 2011.
The new quilt, which retails for $110, is the first one to be sold in a colour that is available on the website.
“There’s a huge range of colours available to choose from,” Woolsworth chief marketing officer Peter Wright said.
“It’s an important part of our product portfolio, so it’s a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the range of products available to customers.”
